I work for the HRC and am a beliver in equality for all, but will some of my neighbors turn on me if I hang an = sign flag outside my home?

I”m guessing most people won’t even know what the sign means. I live in a small town and plan to put up a lawn sign to support a domestic partnership issue on the ballot.

Sometimes it takes the courage of people standing up for what they believe in to change things. You might be surprised by the support you get. If everyone didn’t act because of fear, this country would make no progress and the fearmongers will win. Do you really want that?

If they threaten you or get violent or destroy your property, call the cops. It’s your free speech right.
