I used to be, but since 2000 their focus has been more directed towards fighting for the “Gay Mafia” types than the everyday GLBT community.
I have withdrawn my membership until I see more focus and inclussion directed towards ALL our community insted of just the richest 10%.
(sound familiar?)

Amnesty International is a great campaign organization that sends you information and how you may assist with everything from donations to actually getting your hands dirty. If you call or visit them online, they will tell you about local organization groups that work for the same cause. I learned a lot from them and I am aware of the atrocities that happen in other countries. God bless America.
As my avatar indicates, yes. I’ve been a member for many years, and when I was in the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, we used to entertain at their fund raisers.
